Trends for 2011
It has been great fun following our sales this year and trying to spot the trends and find out what people are interested in, you know, all Zeitgeist and that. It's been a monster year for cupcakes and zombies for example! So we thought we would pull together some info on all the things that fly out of the warehouse and do some little pics to illustrate our findings.

Let's get baking!
We looked at sales of cupcake cookbooks throughout the year to see if there were seasons when customers were munching their way through more tasty treats than other times.

Eurgh, Argh... Zombies! Back to top
What's the collective noun for Zombies? An aagh!? A lurch? A rot of Zombies? Zombies are everywhere... Look! Quick, the shotgun! Zombiefied Jane Austen still trending strongly, nice.
Because The Walking Dead books were so popular, we left them off otherwise we'd be really buried in Zombies!
Let's fly away Back to top
Do people actually visit the countries they buy travel guides to? We've known quite a few people, naming no names, who fill up their shelves with guides to exotic destinations having never set foot further than Watford Gap. But, we're sure that's not the case here!
Looks like 3 hours worth of security palaver hasn't put you off the US as the most popular destination and it's great to see South East Asia right up there too.
Who's studying what? Back to top
We deliberately left out Media Studies as it may have skewed the results somewhat... Languages are predictably popular but great to see the Sciences and Mathematics coming through strong!
