About Juan Gérvas
Juan Gervás received his doctorate in medicine from the University of Valladolid and worked as a family doctor until his retirement. He has been a professor at the University of Valladolid, the Autonomous University of Madrid, the National University of Distance Education, the National School of Health and the Johns Hopkins University. Mercedes Pérez-Fernández studied medicine at the University of Valladolid where she obtained a degree in occupational medicine. She was a professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid. In 2010 she retired to dedicate herself to teaching and research. She is responsible for ethics at the Spanish Primary Care Network and at NoGracias.
