We are sorry to let you know that Book Depository has now closed.
We will continue to deliver orders placed before midday (12pm BST) on 26 April and will provide support for any order issues until 23 June 2023.
From all of us at Book Depository we want to say ‘thank you’. Delivering your favourite reads to you since 2007 has been a pleasure.
I have a question about placing an order
Q1. Can I still order?
A. Sorry we are no longer accepting new orders.
Q2. Will you still deliver?
A. Yes, all orders placed before midday (12 pm BST) 26 April 2023 will be delivered as normal.
I have a question about an order I have already made
Q3. When will I receive my order?
A. We will continue to deliver items ordered before midday (12pm BST) on 26 April 2023 within our normal delivery times. You can find your estimated delivery date in your order status.
Q4. What happens if my order has not shipped by 26 April?
A. We will continue to ship items (excluding Pre-orders) ordered before midday (12pm BST) on 26 April 2023 up until midday (12 pm BST) 19 May 2023 and will let you know by email when your order has shipped. If it is not possible to ship your order, we will automatically cancel and refund the order for you no later than 23 May. We will confirm this by email.
Q5. What happens if my order does not arrive?
A. You can find your order’s estimated delivery date (and tracking information for some countries) in your order history. If this date has passed please contact us and our Customer Service team will then be able to help you.
Q6. Can I cancel my order/pre-order if it has not shipped?
A. Yes, if you have an account and your order has not yet shipped you can cancel the order from your order history.. Please note this is only possible 30 minutes after you have placed your order. If you do not have an account, please complete the online cancellation form and our Customer Service team will then be able to help you.
Q7. Can I cancel my order/pre-order after I've received it?
A. You can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it by completing our online cancellation form. Our Customer Service team will then be able to help you.
Q8. I haven’t received my order yet, what should I do?
A. If your order hasn’t arrived by the Estimated Delivery Date, please complete our Contact Us Form. within 14 days after the latest Estimated Delivery Date shown in your Order Status. Our Customer Service team will then be able to help you.
Q9. Can I return my order?
A. Please complete the online cancellation form before returning your order and our customer Services team will be able to help.
I have a question about a pre-order
Q10. Will I still receive my pre-order?
A. If your pre-order is released before 26 April 2023, we will aim to deliver this to you within our normal delivery times. Please bear in mind that release dates may change and we may not be able to fulfil your pre-order. If this is the case, we will automatically cancel and refund your pre-order. The refund will be to the payment method that was used to place the order.
Q11. My pre-order is due for release after 26th April 2023, should I cancel it?
A. We will automatically cancel and refund any unshipped pre-orders between 26 - 28 April. You are welcome to cancel your pre-order now by completing the online cancellation form or wait for us to process this on your behalf after 26 April.
Q12. What if my pre-order has not been shipped by 26th April 2023?
A. If we are unable to ship your pre-order by midday (12 pm BST) 26 April it will be automatically cancelled no later than 28 April and you will receive an email to confirm it has been cancelled and refunded. You will be refunded to the original payment method used to place the order; refunds typically take 3-5 business days to reflect on your payment method.

Q13. What happens if you cancel my order/pre-order?
A. If for any reason we are unable to ship your items, we will let you know by email and issue the refund to the payment method used to place your order. Refunds will clear back onto your payment method within 5 - 10 business days.
Q14. When will I receive my refund?
A. Refunds will be made to the payment method used to place the order and normally take 5 - 10 business days to clear back onto your payment method.
Q15. Can I change my payment method for the refund?
A. I am afraid we cannot change the payment method and must refund to the same method used to place the order.
Q16. What if I don’t receive my refund?
A. Please allow the full 5 - 10 business days for the refund to clear. If you have still not received the refund after this time please contact us and our Customer Service team will assist you.

Q17. Can I download my Wishlist?
A. Yes, if you have an account and Wishlist you can download this until 22 June using the “Download your wishlists” button in your wishlist.
Q18. Can I download my order history?
A. Yes, if you have an account you can download this until 22 June using the “Download your order history” button in your order history. If you do not have an account it will not be possible to do this.
Q19. Can I add new payment methods or delivery addresses to my account?
A. No. As we are no longer accepting orders it is not possible to add new payment methods or delivery addresses.
