A competition from the Book Depository and travel guide supremos Frommers to win a fantastic Nikon D3100*. Just submit your favourite spring time holiday photo and our independent judges will decide a winner.

One entry only per person please so choose carefully!

    To Enter

    1) Visit the flickr group page we've set up, join the group and submit your ONE photo.

    2) Enter the photo's title and your details below.

Competition closes Friday 20th April at 5pm GMT

Update: The competition is closed now and here is the winner.

*D3100 employs Nikon's latest breakthrough technology to deliver superb results. A newly developed DX-format CMOS sensor with 14.2 effective megapixels works in tandem with new EXPEED 2 image processing engine to produce highly detailed images containing rich tonal gradations and faithful color. This combination also helps produce beautifully defocused backgrounds - a hallmark of quality digital SLR cameras. In addition, a maximum ISO of 3200 (expandable to ISO 12800 equivalent using the Hi 2 setting) allows you to shoot without worrying about camera-shake blur.

Some absolutely beautiful pictures with some cameras I wish I could afford! I hope my lowly phone photography stacks up :o) I now feel the need to justify my "summer" photo which was taken on a holiday which extended into summer only by 4 days! Although, some are taken this year or only hours ago? I wonder if this means they are holidaying in springtime in a different part of the world? Lucky them!

Pendyrhyn: My photo was of the great library at Ephesus, taken on a springtime holiday in Turkey. I was absolutely stunned by the beauty and elegance of this building, even in ruin. A favourite memory. I am a Nikon user and fan, I really admire the compatability of lenses across time, a new D3100 would be absolutely awesome!!
