In this book you will read about a Troll Family who dwell in a great Mountain cave far away from the folk in the town. Ogress is a Giantess who rules her Family with an Iron Fist. She and her husband Ragjerk send their sons "The Yule Tide Lads" into the town every Christmas to collect some festive food for them to eat over the holiday period, but other than that the Lads spend the greatest part of the year sleeping. About Helgi Valgeirsson

Helgi Valgeirsson is born in Reykjavik Iceland in 1962. From age of ten he grew up in Breioholt, a place in Reykjavik which at that time was part Breioholt . In 1982 Helgi graduated from The Comprehensive Community Collage of Breioholt /department of art and in 1986 he graduated from The Icelandic College of Art and Crafts. Helgi has for the most worked at his art ever since, aswell as using his time writing stories about The Yuletide lads, very well known Christmas figures in Iceland. Helgi has published several books about them in Iceland, there of three storybooks, colouring books and he also has published these characters on Christmas cards. As a Scandinavian Helgi has not only lived in Iceland but moved around and lived in Sweden, Norway and Denmark where he is living now. On his travels he has noticed that even culture is like from country to country there always is some difference, theese likeble caracters and caracters just like who gives us the change
