The Department has held monthly meetings during the season, as far as practicable, on the third Monday evening of each month-. The lectures delivered at these meetings have been as follows: Oct. HALSEY, of New York, editor of the New Y ork Times Saturday Review, on "The Indians of New York State and their Famous League," illustrated by lantern photographs. Ian. 2I.--Lecture by Prof. WILLIAM H. GooDYEAR, President of the Department, on "Notre Dame Cathedral and its Leaning Facade, compared with that of Pisa," illustrated by lantern photographs.
