Herein, we consider methods of effectively doubling the velocity of a spacecraft traveling inside the mouth of a wormhole at velocities virtually equal to the speed of light with respect to the wormhole interior. We further consider such cases where the throat is traveling at a velocity virtually equal to the speed of light with respect to the background into which the wormhole opens.We consider topological relationships between the space just inside the wormhole wall where the spacecraft is traveling substantially at the velocity of light with respect to the wormhole wall and the background through which the wall of the wormhole translationally sweeps at virtually the speed of light.However, we go further to consider weak thermodynamic coupling between said space-time just inside the wormhole throat and the space through which the wormhole wall sweeps.We conclude that the velocities of the craft within the wormhole and the velocity of the wormhole opening with respect to the background space-time add linearly.Such linear superposed velocities may in principle allow travel through background space-time for craft substantially equal to 2C.We go one step further to consider scenarios for which similarly prepared space-craft are placed in a secondary similarly prepared wormhole system which experiences the same classes of relative motion with respect to the primary wormhole internal space, but where the primary wormhole is part of a primary wormhole system that experiences the same classes of motion with respect to the background space-time.We conclude that three velocities with respect to the background space-time add linearly.Such linear superposed velocities may in principle allow travel through background space-time for craft substantially equal to 3C.We go yet another step further to consider scenarios for which similarly prepared space-craft are placed in a tertiary similarly prepared wormhole system which experiences the same classes of relative motion with respect to the secondary wormhole internal space, but where the secondary wormhole is part of a secondary wormhole system that experiences the same classes of motion with respect to the primary wormhole space-time.We conclude that three velocities with respect to the background space-time add linearly.Such linear superposed velocities may in principle allow travel through background space-time for craft substantially equal to 4C.The occurrence of such superluminal velocities may imply forcing nature to expose boundary conditions further implying spacecraft travel velocities that are neither purely special relativistic nor purely general relativistic.By approaching such extreme boundary conditions, perhaps new physics can be uncovered as well as new interpretations on what travel means.By stressing nature to such boundary conditions, perhaps novel space-time transport effects can be realized, as well as opening up potentially unlimited supplies of energy for a very cosmically advanced civilization.show more
