Lettice J., daughter of Wm. and Dorcas Steele, married St. Glair Stuchell, of Pittsburg. He is a carpenter and resides in East End, Pittsburg. Children: Ira, Louie, Pearl, Frank and Claire. Alvord, son of Wm. and Dorcas Steele, married Nora Hamil, April 26, 1894. Ida, daughter of Wm. and Dorcas Steele, married John Kohlhepp, of North Mahoning twp., March 18, 1892. Their only child, Charles Dale, was born April, 1893, died Aug., 1893. R. Elmer, son of Wm and Dorcas Steele, married Sadie C. Alabran, of West Mahoning twp., Nov. 28, 1893. She was born Sept. 18, 1872. Their address is Elkin, Pa. Miriam Steele. Miriam, daughter of Matthew and Sarah Steele, married Samuel H. VanHorn, of South Mahoning twp., March 7,1860. Samuel was born July, 1832, died March, 1888. Children: Anderson, born June 3, 1861, married Sadie Canaan, of Indiana couuty; have two children and reside at Marchand, Pa.; infant son, born March, 1863, and died same month; infant daughter, born and died Sept., 1868. Samuel VanHorn was a soldier in the late war, enlisting June, 1863, Co. A, 2d Battalion. Miriam lives with her son. Robert Alex. Steele. Robert Alex., son of Matthew and Sarah Steele, married Margaret E. Wardon, of South Mahoning twp., Mar. 1,1864. She was born Oct., 1846. R. Alex-is an architect and their residence is E.
