AN ACT to provide for holding general and special Elections, the time when, the manner of holdingthe same, and the qualifications disabilities and privileges of electors. D The people of the State of Wisconsin, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows: TITLE 1. Sncnox 1. Every male person of the age of twenty-one years or upwards belongiilg to either of thefollowing classes who shall have res'i ded in the state for one year next preceding any election, shall be deemed a qualified elector at such election: " 1st. White citizens of the United States. 24, White persons ot foreign birth, whmshall have.e'clared'their in tentions to become citizens conformably to' the laws of the United States on the sulqect of naturalizationt 3d. Persons of Indian bfood, who have once been declared by law of'con gress citizens of the United States, any subsequent law of congress to thr contrary notwithstanding. 4th. Civilizedpersons of Indian descent not members of any tribe. Sire. 2.
