Review quote

A creepy, atmospheric start to the book with great, textural art by Alison. This is a book you can really 'feel'... - Charlie Adlard Niles always brings the big guns and we love him for it. I was taken by the visuals, it's as if someone eviscerated the art and let it spill onto the page, and when you looked closer there are horrifying details to sting the brain. Its like a hallucinogenic nightmare and it is damn impressive! - Terry Moore If Ray Bradbury went for grindhouse thrills, I think we'd get a story like this. - Cullen Bunn Steve Niles, Alison Sampson, and Stephane Paitreau are masters of gory and atmospheric horror storytelling. - Graphicpolicy.com Amazing... Forget Stranger Things, the world of Winnebago Graveyard is the real upside down. - All-comic.com All together, this book feels like a grindhouse movie with a massive budget, while also doing some great things that really have fun with the comics format. It's a great book that needs to be picked up. - Comicbuzz.com Beautiful, grotesque, and scary a must read for horror fans. - RILEY ROSSMO Suffused with Satanism and Dense with Dread. - Hyperallergic.com It is astounding how much terror can sneak into this book without noticing, and even more incredible how the individual bits and pieces are beginning to collide into
one layered, eery tale. - 10/10 - Comicosity.com Alison Sampson continues to be a fresh, innovative, vibrant voice in graphic storytelling. - 10/10 - Wordofthenerdonline.com Alison Sampson's art doesn't so much jump off the page as yank you into the scene, which is arguably the most unsettling effect a horror comic can have. Splendid horror... fit for the Devil itself. - Doomrocket.com One of the best horror books we've seen in a long time. - The Big Bang I really loved Winnebago Graveyard. Smart and creepy horror by Steve Niles and eerie art by Alison Sampson. Niles at his horrific best. - RICK REMENDER Brilliantly engages both horror newbies and genre fanatics.
It does so by presenting a compelling narrative with gorgeous art, while simultaneously playing homage to the genre as a whole. - Comicsverse.com Steve Niles is one of my favorite writers, and one of the desiccated handful who can pull off a great goosebump maker in comics form. Alison Sampson matches his fever and maybe goes a few steps further into the bog than even Steve's script seems to demand.... Everything about this book gives me the willies. - GAIL SIMONE The art is beautiful.
The story perfect.
This is my favorite comic of the last few years already.
I LOVE THIS BOOK!
- MARK MILLAR Bago G-yard belongs right up on top in the nose bleed section of greatness.
Once again, I'm hooked like a walleye in the gill. - Leonard "Spark" Boldt, Manitowoc, WI Creepy, evocative backwoods horror with genuine atmosphere. - Rob Williams If you're a horror fan that has yet to feel truly and joyfully disturbed by a comic, Winnebago Graveyard's got you covered. - Bookriot.com This looks SO fantastic! I'm so excited to have been able to contribute. - Jen Bartel Bound to be a major hit with Horror fans and lovers of great comic book art.
A horrific, jaw dropping instalment of a gripping genre tale. A must read. - 10/10 Winnebago Graveyard is a brilliantly crafted, artistic beauty... like nothing else currently on the shelf. - 5/5 - Comiconverse.com The writing is fast-paced and engaging, and this coupled with the beautifully detailed art makes for an enjoyable and compelling read. - 10/10 - Impulsegamer.com What a great read! - 5/5 This comic is getting better by the issue and more gruesome as well. - 5/5 - Outrightgeekery.com Alison Sampson seems to have been born to draw unnerving and realistic looking imagery, and Steve Niles reminds us once again he's a horror master with great ideas. - Adventuresinpoortaste.com Gloriously creepy & immaculately realised, a truly impressive piece of work. - Declan Shalvey Amazing, beautifully drawn, wicked fun - CHELSEA CAIN Moody, unsettling and beautifully drawn...
Everything in this book strikes a perfect tone, from Steve Niles' deft scripting to Aditya Bidikar's fine lettering choices, but Alison Sampson on line-art and Stephane Paitreau on colors are a revelation. A distinct and compelling vision, brought to life expertly. - KURT BUSIEK Utterly gripping. - Multiversitycomics.com Steve Niles is at it again, finding a way to take what could be a normal day with the family and turning it into a nightmare on so many levels, featuring hauntingly beautiful artwork by Alison Sampson that sets the tone from page one. Winnebago Graveyard is the start of a wild and twisted ride. - Jimmy Palmiotti Winnebago Graveyard is a gorgeous new graphic novel about satanic cults, carnivals, and a family that gets caught up in events beyond their control when the Winnebago in which they're vacationing is stolen... a great new collaboration between comic veteran Steve Niles and newcomer Alison Sampson. - Ellen Datlow I checked out Winnebago Graveyard by friends Steve Niles & Alison Sampson and it was gorgeous creepy awesome. Highly effective stuff. Loved it. - Joe Harris
