About Miss Sharmishtha Basu
You know I now regret that I skipped the question "Tell us about yourself" whenever it was asked to me! I should have vigorously practiced it. I am unmarried, unemployed and a very happy go lucky person, that is, I don't allow negativity in my heart/mind/soul to stay for long time, I open the door the minute I see one skulking inside: ) Well, even though I feel very uneasy talking about myself, still... I was born in a tiny town adjacent to famous Agra, that nurtures beautiful Tajmahal in its heart. Then, in the course of next 16 years I touched most of the states of Northern Indian plains, U.P., Bihar, Haryana, Delhi (by touched I meant lived in), finally the daughter returned to her ancestral soil, Burdwan of West Bengal, India, completed her graduation there joined the first job, then shifted to Kolkata in 2005, stayed there till 2015, shifted to Hyderabad in 2015 February. The way things seem is going to stay here for a while. Its a lovely place, with lovely people. I love to write and illustrate them myself. By love I mean love, no half-hearted relationship, a full-fledged, passionate love, I cant pass two days in a stretch without writing/painting (cyber), just feel empty like lovers do when their lovers are away on a tour!
