About Yoke Mardewi

Yoke's wish in writing Wild Sourdough is to inspire people to return to their kitchens with beautiful flours, and to start experimenting! Wild Sourdough is written from Yoke's point of view as a bread-making teacher and home-baker, and she measures her success by how many people she has 'infected' with her passion and knowledge of sourdough.

Our customer reviews

The book looks deceptively great, it has wonderful pictures and a large number of recipes to inspire the new baker.... however it has significant problems such as no real details on how to create your own starter other than a brief section of mixing flour and water and waiting and many recipes omit significant details, the ginger bread recipe for instance does not include ginger anywhere at all other than the title leaving the baker to guess at the required quantity to use. I recommend giving this book a miss.show more
