About Collin Fields

Collin Fields was born in London, England in 1983. From a young age, he was attracted to the book arts, painting, and film. He often skipped school to attend picture openings at the downtown theaters. He always believed getting life experience was the path to becoming a real writer. These were what he now calls his formative years. He studied writing and film at the University of Essex, against the advice of his parents, who thought he should enter a more stable field. He then entered the field of publishing, working as an editor for several years at publications coming out of London. However, his passion had always been creative writing. After relocating to the United States, he continued his writing career, publishing some of his shorter articles. Now he is a full time writer and artist, who enjoys working on several projects at the same time. Currently, he lives with his wife and children in rural New England.show more
