Description

A popular and practical introduction to psychosynthesis-the empowering psychology of self-actualization and enhanced personal growth. This book outlines a specific programme of easy-to-perform exercises that form the basis of a total system for psychological and spiritual growth. Drawing on his own case histories as a therapist, the author describes how the reader may resolve seemingly impossible conflicts, redirect aggressive impulses, awaken intuitive and creative powers, develop a strength of will and the sense of personal freedom, and capacity to love.show more

Review quote

-Lucidly written, Piero Ferrucci's What We May Be brings the enlightenment of psychosynthesis to the American people in a most compelling and delighting way. This is no cheap illusory fix. It's very real and elegantly down-to-earth. The publication of this book certifies that our consciousness is rising.- --M. Scott Peck, M.D. author of The Road Less Traveled -This book is a boon to psychosynthesis, a popular transformation technique developed decades agao by Italian psychiastrist Roberto Assagioli.- --Marilyn Ferguson, author of The Aquarian Conspiracy -A most illuminating and important book.- --Yehudi Menuhin -What We May Be is no ordinary pop psychology book. A gentle flow in the writing adds dimension to this presentation of the psychology of psychosynthesis.- --LOS ANGELES TIMES --Assagioli's work, a fruitful marriage of spirit and psychology, is faithfully and clearly presented in this volume. The pragmatic simplicity of the writing reflects Piero Ferrucci's deep understanding of the methods.- --Ram Dass -One of the best do-it-yourself manuals to date.- --WHOLE LIFE TIMES -The perfect companion for anyone embarking on a journey of psychological and spiritual growth. In my works I continue to use many of the techniques Dr. Ferrucci describes so beautifully.- --Stephanie Matthers-Simonton, Getting Well Againshow more
