Walter Allen Fitch 1860-1910, from Milwaukee, WI and 1245 Formosa Ave, Hollywood, CA. American Impressionist Painter, studied in Julien Art Academy, Paris, FR- in 1895-1900. He had a very sad love affair with Gertrude Hickcox in 1891, in which she comments suicide, Milwaukee, WI. His mother, Martha Elisa Curtis Fitch is Co-Founder of Woman's Club of Wisconsin. His father was head of First National Exchange Bank-later evolved into Bank One.. his Grand daughter is, Dawn Fitch, American Impressionist, musician- and Graduate of Grossmont College-Her teacher-& Head of Art Department, Ms Marje Hyde.

About Dawn a Fitch
Walter A. Fitch, Painter- is from Milwaukee, WI of what is now, the Bank One trust heirs, also from the "Orange Grove," at 1245 Formosa, Hollywood, Calif. and 20 Prospect St, New London, CT. This is the collection of my Grandfather's painting and my family photos, he is among the first one hundred American Impressionist Painters who studied in the Julien School of Art in Paris, Fr.- at the turn of the Century. He studied with Thatchman in Cos Cob, CT a member of the "Clapboard Art Colony" so named by Childe Hassum, also an artist founder-member.
