About Margaret J. Wheatley

Margaret J. Wheatley is President Emerita and founder of The Berkana Institute, Meg has been working with people for many years to develop new practices and ideas for organizing people and communities. She is an internationally acclaimed speaker and author of several bestselling titles: Leadership and the New Science, A Simpler Way, Turning to One Another, and most recently, Finding Our Way. Deborah Frieze is Brand Steward and former co-president of Berkana and co-founder of the Berkana Exchange. An entrepreneur, business strategist and social activist, Debbie joined Berkana in 2002 to help bring Berkana's vision into the world and grow the Institute. She is currently involved with several Berkana initiatives, include Feeding Ourselves Sustainably, Swaraj University and multiple Illumination and Thought Leadership projects. Debbie is also a member of The Tipping Point Network, a group seeking to catalyze a globally sustainable economy by focusing philanthropic donations on sustainable markets.
