In the lame hall I saw the two excellent K k statues statues of charity, and plenty, in cumbent postures i and they are the fellows to those two statues which adorn the Tomb of Paulus Ter tius, the raiser of this samily, in S Peters Church. Round about this room also stand a ivorldof statues of gladiators, standing with: their swords in their hands, & in several postures, upon their gard.In the next chamber I taw rare pictures containing some actions ot Paulas Tertiusi and they are of the hand of Salvhti and Federico ZuccarU There is also the picture of ' Luther disputing with Caietan: and a picture of the four Latin Doctors of the Church-S. 'Hierome, S. Ambrose, S. Augustin, &S.Gregorythe hand of PerdoniniIn an other chamber, a world of ancient statues of Philosophers and Poets: as Euripides, Plato, Pojjidotiius, Zeno, Sentca, DiogeTies.Bjci hus, Mekager, and others, An other reom full of pictures of choice hands, and a curious table.of pietre Jo&ntrjfe about twelve foot long 5c 5 wide.
