Review quote

This attractive and accessible volume...features color photographs...of picture scrolls (pat) produced by scroll painters (patua) from the village of Naya in west Bengal.... This is a visually charming book that helps us meet the painters where they are today. Highly recommended for undergraduate and graduate libraries.
