About MR Fred Tessler

Fred Tessler was born in Des Hungary in 1922, one of 7 children he endured the horrors of World War II working as slave labour under the Hungarian fascists. He was inspired to write Victims of War based on his experiences during this time. The events described in the book left a profound mark on him and set the future course of his life. Today he lives in Sydney Australia with his wife who also lived in Hungary during the war. Together they have 3 children. He is an active writer, writing a range of fiction, children's and health more
