About Q Nicole

Q. Nicole is new to the publishing world, but she's not new to writing. Inspired by her mother's love of poetry as a preteen, she decided to follow in her footsteps. It became an escape to her and shortly after it became a passion. She didn't experience story writing until she was fourteen. She discovered the message board community where she started out writing script form. When she realized how much more she loved being able to develop her own world and characters her writing evolved into novel form. A couple of years after that she'd put her pen down because she didn't think there was any real promise in her work. However, in 2010 at the age of 19 she caught that urge again. She found a new board that goes by the name of I Got Flow Inc. She continues to acknowledge them for her REAL start. She cites that it was those ladies there that kept her pushing with their support of her. She felt the need to share her work more and so she kept at it on Reloaded where she gained more support. Just a few years later she found another place called Elite Creativity. She gathered some buzz there as well! She credits all of them and her family for keeping her grounded with their kind words. In 2014 she decided that it was time for her to really give it a shot. She began to take her craft more seriously. She searched for ways to get her work out there, but she didn't have any luck. She left it alone for awhile and continued writing. Now in 2015 she's found her way with self publishing! Her motto is: why hand over creative control to someone else when I can be my own boss?! She hopes to open doors for herself as a published author with her first book finally hitting the more
