Venture Companion : A Journal for Defining Values, Vision, and Intent to Enable Authentic and Sustainable Growth
How satisfying it is to end the day with a good book and a quiet moment to reflect. Venture Companion is a respite from the turbulence of daily distractions. It is a place to filter noise and clarify the indicators vital to the pursuit of meaningful objectives. Venture Companion serves to promote personal and professional development. It has provided an engaging way to connect with and support my daughter as she entered adolescence. She enjoys using a journal to explore ideas, set goals, and make plans. The sequence of activities in my work appeals to her love of adventure and games. The scope of this work evolved as my mother, who was adjusting to retirement, took an interest in this project. She finds the emphasis on defining values and exploring purpose to be especially helpful. My engagement in educational leadership added additional insights as administrators and staff welcomed guidance based on Venture Companion concepts and processes. My colleagues appreciate the foundation of comprehensive observation that supports sound objectives. Venture Companion would be a meaningful gift to offer at the commencement of any transition. Markers and milestones such as: graduations, marriage, moving, parenthood, medical challenges, vocational shifts, relationship changes, retirement, and loss present far-reaching life choices in unfamiliar territory. The gift of guidance and structure in uncertain times is a true kindness. Venture Companion is a supportive ally to keep you on the path that reflects your essential values.
