I devoured this series within a week and I am still reeling from its effects. If you loved the anime you will definitely love the manga. The anime is more of an introduction to the Vampire world in this series. Reading past that in the manga leads into so many twists and turns it will make your head spin. I actually had to back track a few times to re-read chapters to grasp fully what was happening, but really only because I was reading it too fast. lol. Throughout the whole series there is an epic love triangle between Yuki, Zero and Kaname. I struggled throughout this whole series as to who I wanted her with, and honestly in the end I just couldn't choose. Both have an equal love for her, both would sacrifice anything for her happiness. Kaname's plans for both the Vampire Hunter's Association and Vampire Aristocracy is finally revealed in the later chapters, some leaving you in denial if it really happened and why. But the most amazing part is the last few chapters. I had tears constantly streaming down my cheeks reading these and the ending was in my eyes just purely amazing and wonderful. This manga is definitely on my top list to read again and more

This manga is for a slightly more mature audience, but I absoulutley loved it! The art is great, and it goes so pefectly you feel like your watching an anime, it makes your heart race, and I love vampires! This is only the first volume, but there are already so many twists with the story and characters, I really love how even though it so serious Matsuri Hino, couldn't help herself but add a bit of comedy in, it really just gives it a little more realistic feel. Anyway great Manga and I can't wait to read the secong Vol.!!!!!show more

This is one of my current favourite manga- alongside Oresama Teacher and D. Gray Man. It's a must-read for teenagers and adults alike. Not being a fan of the Twilight series, I'd say this is a much better alternative!show more

"My old favourite used to be D.N.Angel (which I highly reccomend (sp??)) but VAMPIRE KNIGHT has taken the place. It is slight more orientated to a female audience... droolably handsome male characters and the not-ever-so-pretty heroine us girls can relate to. I love this manga, the drawings are so perfect and the storyline's great. I can't wait to get hold of the rest of the series!"show more
