Excerpt from Unreported Opinions, 1917, Vol. 1: Index Digest Beginning November 23, l 909 the Commission instituted the preo tico of formulating unreported Opinions. The first series were printed and numbered 1 to 752. On or about January, 1913, these printed unreported opinions were discontinued and a multigraph series started, being numbered A - l to A-1064. On March 9, 1915, the multigraph series were discontinued and the printed series resumed In the resumption of the printing of the unreported opinions, in order to preserve a complete record of the Opinions issued, the num ber of Opinions in the first series, 752, was added to the number of A series, 1064, making a total of 1816. The first number given to this series was 1817. This practice was continued until the num ber reached 2249, when the Commission decided to discontinue the practice of issuing unreported opinions. In order to have a complete check of the subjects considered in these unreported opinions an index digest, together with a table of cues, table of cases cited, table of commodities, and table of localities were prepared. It was thought best to separate these indexes into two volumes, the first volume to comprise the index digest, and the second, the table of cases, table of cases cited, table of commodities, and table of localities.
