About Piotr Ka
Born in the era of communism in Poland, he is an only the son of a bricklayer and a seamstress. From young age he showed signs of flair for art. As the years passed by he mastered the ability of postponing everything for tomorrow. Out of luck on the entry exams and for want of anything better he graduated from the Administration Department at the Swietokrzyska Academy in Poland, which effectively helped him to avoid compulsory military service. He is the winner of many prestigious awards, like a tennis racket in Know Your Region contest and a couple of times a tenner in the Lotto. Piotr makes illustrations for a polish language short fiction magazine Szortal Na Wynos (www.szortal.com) and writes and illustrates a blog at www.kapiotr.wordpress.com. He lives in London, UK.
