UNEXPOSED FILM is about life in the movies as those who live it know it. It takes you where no book about the movies ever has: into the barrooms and base camps, into the marital bedrooms and extra-marital temptations, into the hearts and minds of those who dedicate their lives to bringing motion pictures to theatres. Part travel book, part memoir, part movie history, UNEXPOSED FILM follows a film crew vagabond on five movies, three continents and one marriage with two children across the wide range of souls and shores a film production touches.

About Rob Harris

Rob Harris is the author of The Hannibal Journal and a former freelance television writer whose credits include Laverne & Shirley. He tried other things: social work, horse ranching, art therapist in a mental hospital, delivery services, songwriting, movie trailer writing and ad copy. But unit publicity was the only job that worked out. He's had to find a new job every three months for the last 30 years. He is a three-time nominee for the Publicists Guild Lifetime Achievement Award and one of the few unit publicists to have been voted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He is married and has two rock-star sons. He currently lives in London - though his heart is in New York and his house is in Los Angeles.
