Understanding Refractive Surgery Patient Education
A new patient education DVD featuring positive, balanced information about some of the most common refractive surgery procedures. The DVD features an easy-to-use menu of segments on excimer laser, implant and thermal procedures, as well as discussion of monovision for presbyopia and general information on how the eye works. Each segment features real patients explaining their surgical experiences and outcomes. Clear, concise computer animations illustrate the eye and procedures, and an ophthalmologist discusses the risks and benefits of each type of surgery. A "Special Features" section includes English or Spanish language options, as well as stand-alone animated graphic segments on each procedure.
