Review quote

`Dr Baker's clear writing is coupled with frequent case studies, transcripts from therapy and quotes, all of which serve to clarify his points, one of the most important of which is that recovery is possible and that there is indeed hope of 'complete health.' * Division of Clinical Psychology *

Our customer reviews

I started suffering from panic attacks a year ago and didn't want to read a book initially as I didn't want to end up thinking I was going to suffer from everything I read! I eventually went with this book after reading excerpts that sounded exactly like my situation. So much of this book described exactly how I felt, or what happened to me, it was such a comfort to see that it is such a common occurrence. In fact, it made me feel better knowing that I am not alone. I have passed the book on to my partner to read, as I believe it will help him understand my situation and be able to support me more.show more
