Review quote

The authors point out that clinicians need to consider whether a patient's symptoms reflect childhood abuse and, if they do, conduct a preliminary assessment to detect the history of that abuse. The authors discuss assessment and intervention in both group and individual therapy, and they include case studies that illustrate the connection between childhood abuse and adult disorders. Summing Up: Recommended. Graduate students through professionals. * CHOICE *
