Turbomachinery Blade Design Systems
Three-dimensional analysis methods have reached a high level of accuracy and are now commonly used for flow and performance prediction of 3D turbomachinery components. However, they do not provide any information on geometry changes needed for performance improvement. It is only recently that one has seen emerging design and optimization tools for turbomachinery components and these notes provide a state-of-the-art review on this topic.
