About Janet Waters

Janet Waters was born and raised in the countryside near to Cirencester in Gloucestershire. With the lack of other children living nearby to play with, her imagination was fuelled from an early age. Many school holidays were spent playing Cowboys and Indians with her pet terrier Trixie and what adventures they had. In the millennium year of 2000, Janet and her late husband Michael, decided the timing was right to make changes in their own lives, so they upped sticks and left all things familiar to move to the Costa Blanca in Spain. Following a successful entry in a short story competition, Janet found that she actually enjoyed writing and decided this was an interest that she would like to explore more. A surprising fact, as she failed her English Literature GCE. Janet has had two novels published, 'Truth Hurts' and 'The Circle', as well as various short stories. She is currently working on the sequel to Truth Hurtsshow more
