I submit herewith my report of the transactions of the Grand Recorder's Office for the year ending with the present Annual Assembly, together with an account of the receipts and expenditures for the same period and a summary of the work done by the several Constituent Councils. The Journals of Proceedings of the Forty-second Annual Assembly were issued as soon as delivered by the printer, and distributed as heretofore ordered by the Grand Council, viz.: One copy to each Grand and Past Grand Oflicer. One copy to each of our Representatives near other Grand Councils. Three copies to each Grand Council with which we are in communication, and four copies to each of our Constituent Councils. A commission was issued to Illustrious Companion MILLARD F. HIcKs, of Portland, Maine, to represent the Grand Council of California near the Grand Council of Maine, at the request of our lamented Ill.-. Ill_'. Companion JosIAII HAYDEN DRUMMOND. The report of the Committee on Correspondence has been received from Illustrious Companion AMASA W. BIsIIoI, the Chairman of that Committee, and is ready for distribution.
