Traditional to Digital Photography &The Zone System/Revised
Note: This is the latest version. It includes the entire original text and a table of contents that now contains page numbers for easy navigation. This is not a how-to book or a book about Photoshop. There are many very good textbooks available that will show the ins and outs of Adobe Photoshop, and how to use Photoshop to perfection. They will show you how to color manage your workflow, how to work with channels and layers, and how to do just about anything. This book is more of a why book--why things work the way they do. It will give you insight into how to control your exposure at the camera level so you do not have to make drastic changes in Photoshop. Photoshop is a wonderful tool, but it won't tell you how to get the best possible set of tones at the time of exposure with the zone system. This book will tell you how.

If you\'re really interested in using the zone system save your money and buy \'The Practical Zone System: For Film and Digital Photography\' instead of this title. It contains information that could be gleaned of the internet.show moreby Anna Delinicola
