About Brian Door

Brian Door qualified as an Alexander teacher with Walter Carrington in 1972 and teaches full time. In 1974 he became responsible for running a course in Alexander Technique for Drama students at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, the first time such a course had been run. Since then he has also run courses in London, New College Durham, at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and at the University of Birmingham, and founded the ongoing course at DeMontfort University. In 1979 he started to train teachers, which he has continued to do ever since.
