About Rose Impey

Rose Impey was born in Northwich, Cheshire. When she first left school she worked in a bank, but soon realised this was not for her, and went back to college to train to be a primary school teacher. Rose spends a lot of time visiting schools to read her work. Her books are widely published worldwide, including the United States, Australia, France, Denmark, Germany and Spain. Rosie is a recent RADA graduate with Devon roots and a London disposition. She has appeared on-stage in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Bolton Octogon) and more recently Man Booker Prize winner Alan Hollinghurst's Berenice (Donmare Warehouse) opposite Stephen Campbell Moore. On TV she's appeared in Downton Abbey and as Lizzie in series five of Call the Midwife. Her voice work to date is primarily in audiobooks, radio plays and video game recordings with titles including Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below and Final Fantasy XIV.
