Review Text

Another Tim story and those enchanting, rib-tickling illustrations by the author, telling the story of little Charlotte who is rescued from the waves by Tim and Ginger. After she had been properly rescued and taken in to Tim and Ginger's family, Charlotte is reunited with her Aunt Agatha and recovering her memory, is taken back to the lonesome, elegant existence of a little rich girl. While Charlotte wastes away and languishes in her very grand house, Tim and Ginger are engaged in a very famous battle at school, but all ends happily with the young together again in their home by the sea. The pictures in color and black and white have a gay, impulsive freshness with some sly heroic posturing. Again the comic strip balloons are a delightful surprise. (Kirkus Reviews)show more
