Evolved Publishing brings you "The Three Lost Kids & The Christmas Curse," by award-winning author Kimberly Kinrade. (Chapter Book for kids 6-9 years old.) ...We pulled, and the rope tightened, wrapping around Santa's feet and yanking him upside down to hang from our tree. "What on earth?" He shook and swung and tried to pull himself up, but his belly kept getting in the way. If we hadn't been so desperate, I would have laughed. When he saw us, he reached out. "Kids, help me! I'm stuck." I kept my distance. "I'm sorry, Santa, but we have to stop Christmas, and this is the only way...". Christmas every day sounds like the best thing ever to Bella and her sisters, but when a special Wishing Stone grants her heart's desire, The Three Lost Kids discover the curse hidden in the wish. Now they have to stop Christmas no matter what-even if that means ending up on Santa's Naughty List. Will the girls learn the true meaning of Christmas and find a way to break the curse? Or will they be stuck in their self-created Jingle Bells Nightmare forever?show more

Our customer reviews

First of all, this is the first book I have ever read about the "three lost kids." I discovered this was a series as I read the book, but I had no problem jumping right into this book. I was somewhat intrigued to read the other books in the series. This book is a great book for the kids. There is nothing inappropriate with one minor exception I will address later. I enjoyed the message of the story, and it is the perfect Christmas book. What kid hasn't wished that every day could be Christmas? It was interesting to see what might happen if that were to occur. It will certainly make kids think twice! The only thing that really bothered me was a certain scene when the children put sleeping pills in cookies. This bothers me because it is a potentially dangerous thing to do, and it was never pointed out as being wrong. I did not find it humorous nor ingenious, and unfortunately, I could see children possibly thinking this was a cool thing to do. It also meant that they took these sleeping pills from their parents. How can kids get easy access to these drugs? I know some would say I am making a mountain out of a molehill, but I won't waver on this issue. if you do choose for your children to read it, please make sure they realize the truth of this issue. With that exception, I think most kids would enjoy this nice, quick read about the true spirit of Christmas. I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent more

I truly LOVE Kimberly Kinrade!!! I remember when I was younger and I wanted it to be Christmas everyday too, after reading this....I'll NEVER have that thought again!!!! Bella sure did get everyone in a giant mess....just because she didn't get what she wanted. Totally selfish!!! Lucky for her she has her sisters there at first to enjoy the mess and then to try to help fix it! Out of the five Lost Kids books I'd have to say this is the most humorous....Presents coming everyday, Snowflake in the garage, putting Santa to sleep...Oh and don't forget the snowball fights!!! I'm pleasantly surprised that Ms. Kinrade didn't take an easy route to undo the curse, but instead made the girls learn a valuable lesson before it was lifted. It's a lesson that so many seem to forget at this time of year and to have it brought forth in this way was just totally remarkable!!! Heck, even Santa sent a note in the more
