To the true lover of Nature, the journey must always be delightful. He may have storm or sunshine; his vessel may plough the broad lakes as through a sea; or he may glide noiselessly over a surface broken only by his own progress, by the splash of the salmon, or by the flapping of the water-fowl; still, at the close of the day he will have much to induce delightful recollections; and if he be a sketcher, as we hope he is, his portfolio will, no doubt, return filled with such a variety of subjects as few single rivers could supply.
