Description

Being put in charge of a werewolf pack might be someone's dream, but it's Hedi's nightmare. Hints that it's not working out include the Creemore wolves wanting her blood. And the Council of Weres wanting her dead...

Then all Hedi's wishes are granted. Robson Trowbridge, pack leader, returns - and her love isn't alone. He's found her missing twin brother, Lexi, among the fae. With this double helping of wonderful, things should've been all sunshine and flowers, but the fae lands have changed both men. Hedi's brother is dying of an addiction, and her relationship with Robson may not survive the forces pushing them apart. To combat the darkness ahead, Hedi must face her dangerous were/fae heritage - and accept the consequences.

Review quote

Praise for the Mystwalker series: 'A true storyteller with a tough heroine and an original and engrossing tale. Reader beware, if you pick up a Leigh Evans book, you won't put it down until the last page' Patricia Briggs 'A well-crafted world, a great story and dynamic characters ... I was grabbed early and hooked to the very end' Karen Chance 'The perfect mix of romance and action, with characters you can't help but root for and a twist that had me squealing with surprise. Evans offers a brilliant new take on fairies, werewolves, and magic ... I am officially addicted' Chloe Neill 'Brilliant ... a fascinating fae world that will have you howling for the next book. I loved it' Suzanne McLeod 'Fun and fast-paced. Leigh Evans takes everything you think you know about urban fantasy and throws it out the window, creating a world that's fresh, a heroine that's enthralling, and a world that's as complicated as it is engaging. I can't wait for the next book' Nicole Peeler 'What a delicious read! ... Leigh Evans is definitely one to watch. Get this book. You will not be disappointed' Darynda Jones 'Evans does some very interesting worldbuilding that places Hedi on the road to further dramatic adventures. A truly intriguing debut novel!' Romantic Times Book Reviews 'A complex novel that succeeds in crafting a detailed supernatural world, The Trouble with Fate is beautifully written...A heartbreaking ending, this book will leave you craving more.' Bookchickcity.com 'I enjoyed this book almost from word one. It offers magic, romance, and just enough mayhem to keep things interesting ... can't wait to see what happens next.' Thedemonlibrarian.com 'Completely won me over and made the first book in the Mystwalker series one of my favourite urban fantasy titles of the year.' AllThingsUrbanFantasy blog 'Quick moving, and not ONE dull moment...I definitely recommend this book to fans of the paranormal, but who also enjoy a whole lot of wit and humour as a side course. Leigh Evans is officially one of my new favourites.' BoundbyWords.org 'I completely and thoroughly adored Hedi, and her sarcastic, snarky fabulousness.' Bookish-Brunette.com
