Review quote

Or don't whine when your bills come due or others make a decision about your future you don't like. If it was not for sales By Joe Q. on May 26, 2015 Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase Sales! Maybe one of the most misunderstood concepts/professional today. Most people avoid the term, or go to lengths to explain they don't sell or aren't in sales. They especially should read this book. Or don't whine when your bills come due or others make a decision about your future you don't like. If it was not for sales, I would have nothing. Maybe not nothing, but I don't think i would have had a life as full as I have had. Sales is the greatest profession in the world. I am grateful to Jeff for a few things. !. He reminded me that sales is freely available to anyone and can change your life. So true. 2. it is not the gift of gab. It is a set of principles and science that he outlines so well. It is a good book to read if you are rusty, forgot or still think it is greasy. Jeff's book is both a practical step by step guide, and it gets personal as he weaves in his story to get how it worked for him. I really like people who walk the walk. Practitioners who love their work. I think that describes Jeff. That helps me stay interested. How many people dislike the word sales? How terrible for us all. I think the truth is we hate bad sales. We all know what that is, and Jeff is not an exception. He does not like that version either. So if you are thinking about getting into sales; need a reminder of things when you are in sales; or just a pick me up to sharpen your skills. Buy this book. BY the way, you are already in sales. Everyone is! ---------------------------- There's a science to selling and it can be learned! By Eric D. on June 1, 2015 Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase Many people believe that good sales people are born with that skill. Jeff Lewis demonstrates that there's a science to it and it can be learned. I began to read this book hoping to get a few sales tips and I found it hard to let it down. That's something I didn't expect from a topic that might be considered 'dry' by most people. Jeff has a very impressive experience selling in various U.S. States and international markets. This allowed him to adapt the theory to various cultures and makes him the perfect person to demonstrate that you can sell in any market or condition. I love how he explains theory, then gives extensive examples and summarizes the process. The book is very well done, easy to understand and filled with tools and gems. I don't consider myself a 'natural-born seller' but do feel like I am better equipped to improve my skills after reading this book. I have highlighted and marked many sections in my book and will refer back to it often. It's a must read for any business owner!
