Thank You God for Cancer : Surviving Cancer and Its Treatment
This book contains shared experiences, trials, hopes, pains, frustrations, and the numerous challenges of cancer survivors and care givers that have walked the frightening road of cancer and treatment. It is about their journey through the dark night of the soul and into the light at the end of their tunnel. Included are words of encouragement, suggestions, and caution to newly diagnosed cancer sufferers from those who have gone before. It is a handbook of helps and insights from one family member to another. Those who have been there and have survived the pitfalls and discomforts of chemotherapy, radiation, surgery and diagnostic scans tell their stories. The power of prayer, journaling, group support, cards, letters, electronic social media, calls, and visits all play a part in helping cancer survivors and care givers to arrive at a place where they can say "Thank You God for Cancer!" It is about their victories. This is a faith-based book that relies on a relationship between the reader and Jesus Christ.
