About Moira Wairama
Moira Wairama is a teacher, storyteller, playwright, poet and children's book author. Her picture book The Puppet Box won the 2006 Storylines Joy Cowley Award, and was recognised as a 2008 Storylines Notable Picture Book. Her book The Taniwha of Wellington Harbour was also recognised as a Storylines Notable Non Fiction Book for 2012. She lives in Wellington.
