HANDY FOOD INFORMATION The eight essential elements of food, not only for body sustenance, but for purposes of digestion and assimilation, are: Phosphorus, Iron, Sulphur, Chlorine, Potassium, Sodium, Calcium, Magnesium. With reference to these items the following rank in the order given and in amounts, grains and fractions. Total, 98.9388. The elements Nature has provided to form combinations of these are: Nitrogen, Oxygen, Hydrogen. The two latter form the water, of which the normal body comprises about 80 per cent. Nitrogen is the infinite element which, while apparently inert in physical tests, proves its control by the fact that in its absence reactions do not occur. It is, physically, what the mind is to the body. The signs attached to each item mean: Active elements, (+); basic elements, (--). N. O. and H. are +. Twenty-five ounces of white-flour bread will yield 2.45 grains of essential elements, while the same of whole wheat yields 40.315 grains; but an enormous amount of energy is required to get it, while the 98.9388 requires very little nerve force to get the greater returns. The orthodox medical schools do enough damage with their Dietetics to keep the People demanding their "Cures"--66P and their allies are School-teachers, Clergymen, Politicians, who have influence" because: "What fools these mortals be!"
