Description

Being a brief account, started about 1995, by Gerald Cooper, late husband of Rosemary Marion Cooper (nee Sutherland), of life in Dalfolly, Scotland. The history begins about 1750, with Donald and Margaret Sutherland and of their children. They were my great, great, great grandparents. With the difficult life in the highlands, and the Clearances, some of their livelihood came from droving cattle for sale in northern England, where one branch of the family settled. Others migrated to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the US.show more
