About Stuart Miller

Stuart Miller is a local historian who has written countless books on the Sunderland area. Formerly the Head of Continuing Education at the University of Sunderland, he currently teaches at the Workers Educational Association. John Brantingham was formerly a professional photographer. An avid collector of postcards and photographs of the area for many years, he is also involved with Living History (North East) and with many other local history projects. Their previously published works include Sunderland In Old Photographs.
