Description
In "Summoning the Spirit of General Vlasov," Dr. Gavriil Popov examines the motives and logic of General Audrey Andreyevich Vlasov who created the first and only anti-Stalin government in the history of the USSR. In this well-researched analysis of Vlasov, the author reveals the history that led Stalin to put the General to death in 1946, and in doing so, Popov sheds light on what Vlasov's government represents for the democratic forces in today's new Russia.
