Stumbling Through Grimsby : Stumbling Through Life Series Six
I came to a halt at the road works, and sat in the queue with the rest of the drivers, and took time to look ahead; on the horizon the blood red sky dominated the skies. A ridge of cloud was turning a deep red, almost as though a drop of blood had been dripping and slowly mixing with the white clouds, a sky so beautiful that often it is missed when our daily lives are so full with the busyness of living. Maybe, this is just a game we are living in, like some sort of sick Monopoly where our lives are not our destiny, but out of our control, because at times it is as though I am stumbling through life and not in control of it. A visit to Grimsby enables me to reflect on my past, and how mistakes were made. A short trip to Derby and down memory lane to my rock climbing days. My life in all its ups and downs.
