STREET LIGHT, the third installment of the award-winning suspense/thriller series everyone's talking about!
In his debut novel, REICHOLD STREET, author R.L. Herron created a powerful coming-of-age story set in the tumultuous Vietnam War era. It was selected as a 2012 Readers' Favorite Gold Medal Winner that Kirkus Reviews called "Skillfully written and emotionally strong." In the 5-Star sequel, ONE WAY STREET, the characters returned in a tense, gritty, historically-accurate thriller. In the third book of the series, the electrifying thriller, STREET LIGHT, key characters have survived the Vietnam era, only to discover not all evil is found in war. Some of it walks on the streets of home. A story masterfully written in the manner of J.D. Salinger (Catcher in the Rye), William Golding (Lord of the Flies) and Stephen King (The Body). FIVE-STARS! ..". hard to put down ... the friendship the group had was amazing. I found myself regretting I never had a lifelong friendship like them ... I recommend STREET LIGHT to everyone ...

FIVE-STARS! "STREET LIGHT opens with a disturbing foreshadowing that someone is going to die... Herron builds the story well, has an eloquent way with words and conveys a dichotomy of an unbelievable story...that is totally believable. The potential for spin-offs with different characters in the series is wide open and, hopefully Herron will continue. He is definitely solidifying his mark...and has come into his own as an author. STREET LIGHT was recently selected by "Shelf Unbound" the indie book review magazine, as one of its "100 Notable Books for 2015."

About R L Herron

His earliest known ancestor emigrated from what is now Northern Ireland to the colony of Virginia in 1635. Three hundred and thirteen years later, Ron was born in central Tennessee. His parents brought him north as an infant and he grew up in Michigan. Although he admits hating the winters, Ron still lives and writes in Michigan with his lovely wife, an ugly mortgage and one exceedingly large cat. A member of The National Writers Association, Michigan Writers, the Alliance of Independent Authors (UK), and The American Academy of Poets, he has written multiple works of fiction, including several award-winners.
