About Dennis M. Daley

Dennis M. Daley is a professor of political science and public administration at North Carolina State University. He has taught classes in Human Resources/ Personnel Management since 1978. He has also taught graduate classes in Organization Theory and Organizational Behavior as well as specialized courses in both Performance Appraisal and Labor Relations. He earned a Ph.D. in political science at Washington State University (Pullman). He also received an M.A. in political science from the University of Montana and B.A.s in history and government from Montana State University. He has previously been on the faculty at Minnesota State University (Mankato), Iowa State University, and the University of Mississippi. He is the author of Performance Appraisal in the Public ,Sector. Techniques and Applications (1992). He has also published extensively on human resources topics in the leading public administration journals. He is a senior editor for the Review of Public Personnel Administration and serves on the executive board of the American Society for Public Administration Section on Personnel and Labor more
