About Steve Fernlund

Steve Fernlund is an executive coach and consultant to companies in the freight brokerage business. Over the better part of four decades he has started and grown two brokerage firms. In addition, he and his wife Becky had success owning, operating, and exiting a newspaper publishing firm and retail coffee shop business. For the past ten years he has worked as a coach and consultant with a number of brokers in start-up or turnaround situations to help those companies increase margins and profit. Originally from Minneapolis, MN, Steve now resides in southwestern Illinois. He is a Senior Associate at TranStrategy Partners, an executive coaching and consulting firm based in Vancouver, more
