Our customer reviews
I already adored the look the of the cover of this book and I was not disappointed when I received it in the mail. The illustrations by Julianna Swaney have a charming feel to them that match the hobby of cross stitching perfectly.
Storyland contains 15 projects and a small started pack (thread, a needle and some fabric). It's split up into three sections; beginners, practice, and projects for the "brave and determined".
This book is great as an introductory guide to materials and techniques you'll need for cross stitching. I would say to anyone that wants to pick up cross stitching: buy Storyland. It instantly gives you inspiration for several cross stitch projects and the steps are straight to the point and simple for people that don't know much about this wonderful craft. I definitely enjoy this book. One small hint though, if you don't like animals, don't buy it. The book is filled with all things forest (owls, antlers, etc???????????????????¢????????????¢???¢????¬???????????¢?????????¢????????????¦).show more
